"Frederick SADLER was buried in the Bancourt British Cemetery. The village lies in Pas de Calais, France. Grave: VI.L.7. His body was one of many transferred from temporary cemeteries in the battlefields south and east of the village. His death was also commemorated with a gravestone in St Mary's Churchyard, West Somerton."

"Frederick was born in early 1885 and was a son of William SADLER (1856 to 1930) and Rebecca Elizabeth FUTTER (1858 to 1918). Frederick had 4 sisters and 7 brothers. William was an agricultural labourer in his early life and was a farmer's horseman by 1901. For all of Frederick's life the family lived at Horsey."
